This is a great pattern to showcase large-scale printed fabric or beautiful free motion quilting. You can also go ultra-modern by using solid fabric and an uneven grid of straight-line quilting. This Quilt pattern has instructions to make multiple sizes of the Big Cross and Crown Quilt (small, medium, large, and extra large)

I consider this quilt pattern to be a beginner quilt pattern, but be sure to keep your seam allowance a consistent ¼ inch and press and trim the segments as the pattern instructs.
